In this article we will be walking through the full process on how to a custom domain for a tour. We will assume that you have already gone through the full process of creating the listing and now need to make edits to it after the fact.
To begin, find the listing you wish to edit on your account dashboard and click the “View & Edit” button when your cursor hovers over the listing (or search for the listing in the top search bar).
Once on the property’s dashboard, you will see a hierarchy of different tabs, beginning with Property Info, Customer, Marketing, and Settings at the top with sub-tabs under each option.
The third tab is “Marketing,” which contains Analytics on the virtual tour websites as well as domain management and video and flyer builders which can be used to generate further marketing content for a property!
The first sub-tab under “Marketing,” is Links/Domains, and provides you with the option to view the virtual tours generated for the property as well as purchase a custom domain for the property, which we will explore now.
We provide you with a suggested custom domain based on the property address. You are able to change that if you choose. Then click the “check availability” button to verify that the domain is available. If so, you can purchase the domain for a year by clicking the “Buy Domain” button in the dropdown.
A pop up window will appear for you payment information as well as the price of the domain for 1 year. Simply enter in your card information, select the “Pay $XX.XX” button, and your domain purchase will be finalized!
Your tour will now be hosted on that domain unless you elect to switch back in the future.
